First week of kindergarten!

During writing time, students write independently at their desks after a whole group mini lesson. Then they conference in small groups with Miss Voss or Mrs. Blake.

At the dramatic play center we met an elephant and a cat this week. They drew a detailed picture of their character and where he lives

After reading the book "Going to School" at the guided reading table, students are writing about their favorite part of school. Their answers included "riding the bus, reading together, and playing together!"
